Jamie Fox: Intuition
So I previewed this album. This is Jamie's third album overall, second album to be recognized. I had mixed feelings. The album has 15 tracks featuring T.I. Kanye, Ne-Yo, Fabolous, T-Pain (blah), Marsha of Floetry and Lil' Wayne (blah). Give it to Me, is an uptempo house/ club song that gets you pumped and ready for a long night out. Although Kanye does more rapping on Jamie's album than on 808's and Heartbreak, it does not overshadow Mr. Foxx's vocals. Blame it, is a great song, reminiscent of Ludacris' One more drink, but without the humor and a bit classier. The song is great, except when Jamie uses Auto-Tune. To make matters worst, T-Pain is on the track (king of Auto-Tune). Isn't it enough that T-Pain is on the song? How much Auto-Tune do we need? My favorite song is She Got Her Own. This is not the Miss Independent remix, sorry. I'm think maybe Ne-Yo co-wrote this. But it has a nice feel to it. Overall Jamie prepares you for the club, has you bustin' a move and then sweats out that perm and smoothes it out for the ride home to appreciate you and do it all over again. I say if you got a girl, or you trying to get one in bed, buy it.
